(Yicai Global) June 30 -- China’s internet watchdog has lifted the ban restricting new user registrations on apps from online recruitment giant Boss Zhipin and truck-hailing platform Full Truck Alliance. New users can now register on Boss Zhipin and Full Truck Alliance's Yunmanman and Huochebang apps after a nearly one-year ban, the pair announced in separate statements yesterday, citing the Cyberspace Administration of China. The CAC launched probes into Yunmanman and Huochebang and Kanzhun-operated Boss Zhipin to prevent data security risks and safeguard national security, in accordance with the Measures for Cybersecurity Review. This past year, we cooperated with the CAC earnestly and conducted rectification to any security issues found, Boss Zhipin and Full Truck Alliance said in two posts on Chinese Twitter-like Weibo late yesterday. In the future, we will take effective measures to ensure the security of platform infrastructure and collection of massive data, they added. Full Truck Alliance [NYSE: YMM] closed down 10.5 percent at USD8.24 yesterday, after opening up 7.8 percent. Kanzhun's shares [NYSE: BZ] ended 1.9 percent down at USD26.33, after earlier gaining as much as 3 percent. Both companies went public on the New York Stock Exchange in June last year.
