March 23, 2023 Armed with a cache of investor money, a St. Paul, Minnesota-based startup called YourPath is set to offer its advanced software, aimed at helping individuals with substance abuse disorders, to healthcare providers and other organizations looking to strengthen their digital communication with clients. The platform, dubbed RecoveryWeaver, handles a fair share of administrative tasks for these overburdened entities, but Chief Executive Officer Jordan Hansen believes the program’s biggest benefit to society will be connecting individuals in recovery with necessary support groups, social services, and/or childcare. RecoveryWeaver’s topline feature is its ability to link with electronic medical records to provide the full scope of each unique individual's recovery process, garnering the most attention from recovery-based organizations. This gives providers tapping into predictive intelligence tools the opportunity to intervene ahead of worsening conditions. “Without communication, [people struggling with substance use] are starting over every time,” Hansen said. “If we share the records in a way that gives patients autonomy, and is also secure, we can really do a better job of supporting people for long periods of time.” Become a Subscriber
