About Xocracy

Xocracy has a vision of bringing direct democracy online, where we can vote on issues quickly and easily, and our votes count instantly in real-time. Our site and app are a first step in familiarizing users with the ability to vote online and have their voices heard. Currently, most political and social issues survey sites consist of either burdensome petitions, such as Survey Monkey or Change.org, or conversely apps that have less meaningful thumb up/down or like options. There are no relevant social media sites or apps that allow for quick voting and sharing. Xocracy facilitates a less cumbersome political and social engagement, but remains far more meaningful than just the like button. The value: - Providing a platform to raise awareness of various current political and social issues. - Allowing individuals the ability to vote and voice their opinion on important issues. - Creating statistics from the compiled aggregate data collected and delivering to decision makers.
