Last week, the popular coffee spot based at the Albany foreshore marina was named the maker of the best flat white in WA by online platform Wotif in its Uniquely Aussie Awards. Ms Curran said the cafe, which she and partner Keith King officially took over earlier this month, was just a “good place to be”. She said you could get bogged down talking about the technical elements of a good coffee but a lot of the time it comes down to “being consistent” and “being made with love, served in a happy environment and shared with good friends.” “We’ve got a really good team here as well that has been long-standing,” she said. Ms Curran said she had not previously been aware of the awards.
