Austin's Safeguard Global acquires WorkFor Group   May 3, 2019 at 12:57 PMMay 3, 2019 at 12:57 PM Austin-based Safeguard Global, which specializes in workforce management and payroll services, announced that it has acquired Switzerland-based WorkFor Group. WorkFor Group includes WorkFor, an employment outsourcing company, and AdminMe, a payroll processing company. The acquisition will allow Safeguard Global to expand its payroll and employment outsourcing services, the company said in a news release. The acquisition closed on April 25. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Safeguard Global has been empowering companies to scale, grow and thrive globally," Safeguard founder and CEO Bjorn Reynolds said in a written statement. "That’s why this acquisition is so exciting for us—it allows us to take a giant leap forward in our vision for advancing the way multinational companies manage human capital assets, while deepening our in-market expertise in the European market and delivering an even higher level of customer service moving forward."
