Elie is currently a venture partner with Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP) and a VC consultant to the World Bank. With Abraaj Capital (Dubai, Lebanon), Elie established and managed a $50 million private equity fund focused on investing and market development of high growth value companies in the Middle East region. Previously Elie was a successful executive at Ramp Networks (acquired by Nokia), Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel) and Sun Microsystems. Elie is currently an active board director of several local and international mid-market private companies in various sectors of communication, media, analytics, cloud computing and SaaS. Elie is the co-founder and current board member of Lebnet, the leading hi-tech Lebanese professional network in the US.
