Vytal Enters Hungarian Rebox Market in Cooperation With Wolt Recycling Reusable packaging system Vytal is entering the Budapest market in close cooperation with Wolt, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal. The initiative aims to reduce waste from single-use packaging materials in the coming years. Vytal is free of charge for users as long as the boxes are returned to a Vytal partner within 14 days. The deposit is paid by a digital system. "We are very excited about entering the Hungarian market. We are quite confident that the people of Budapest are ready to significantly reduce the amount of single-use waste if they are given a suitable alternative," said Marcell Bihari, head of Vytal's Hungarian expansion. Vytal offers reusable alternatives for all types of food and beverages, from one and two-particle bowls to cups, as well as boxes for burgers, pizzas, and sushi. Thanks to a strategic partnership with Wolt, users have the option to order food for delivery in Vytal bowls through Wolt, provided that the restaurant is both a Wolt and Vytal partner. "We are delighted to join forces with Vytal, an award-winning, innovative sustainability startup. At Wolt, we are constantly looking for environmentally friendly practices to incorporate into our services. By partnering with innovative, sustainable companies like Vytal, we are taking a significant step towards reducing the environmental impact of food delivery, furthering our mission to make food delivery not only convenient, but also environmentally conscious. This partnership is a significant milestone on this journey and sets a new benchmark for sustainability in the food delivery industry," said Orsolya Hartyanyi, managing director of Wolt Hungary. The first restaurant chain to participate in the project is Hummusbar, which already takes orders in Vytal boxes in all their restaurants in Budapest. ADVERTISEMENT
