April 1, 2015     0 Comments Confie Seguros has acquired three East Coast insurance brokerages: Your Insurance Spot Inc. based in Kissimmee, Florida; Wise Insurance Agency Inc. of Columbia, South Carolina; and, Bronkie Agency Inc. of Williamsville, New York. Financial terms weren’t announced. Confie Seguros is a portfolio company of ABRY Partners. PRESS RELEASE HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, March 31, 2015 – Confie Seguros, a national provider of personal lines insurance, announced today that it has acquired three East Coast insurance brokerages, further strengthening the geographic footprint of its national retail organization which oversees over 650 offices. Confie Seguros acquired the assets of Your Insurance Spot, Inc. based in Kissimmee, FL, which was founded in 2007 and specializes in non-standard auto insurance; Wise Insurance Agency, Inc. of Columbia, SC, founded in 1999 and specializing in personal lines insurance; and Bronkie Agency, Inc. of Williamsville, NY, near Buffalo. Founded in 1961, Bronkie specializes in personal lines and small commercial insurance. These acquisitions build the company’s presence in states where it has existing operations. Confie now has 52 locations in New York, 31 in Florida, and 13 in South Carolina.
