The group is launching an Investor Forum. The first such event will be unveiled next month. The group's annual angel conference took place in May dolling out $380,000 to Dune Sciences, which makes an antimicrobial fabric treatment. Next month's event is different: On Nov. 6 the group wants to connect select startups with accredited investors. Investors must be accredited and can sign up on the Willamette Angel Conference website. Four companies will have 30 minutes each to present and the second four companies will have 15 minutes each. "We want to grow the investor network in the valley to include people who aren't interested in buying into the group decision of the conference," said Skip Rung the Willamette Angel Conference 2015 fund manager. Like other angel conferences around the state, the Willamette Angel Conference allows investors to put money into a fund raised for each event. The group decides which company receives investment. The event will also feature an expo of 50 local companies as well as 15 other startups. The event is coordinated through the angel conference as well as the Regional Accelerator and Innovation Network (RAIN) . The forum is slated for Nov. 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center at Oregon State University . Related links:
