About Whirlybird Electronics
Whirlybird was founded by Mr. Bramh Datt Awasthi (B.Tech, Aerospace Engg; 2004 batch passout) in Aug 2004. Aim is to establish a benchmark in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (both fixed wing & rotary wing) and process automation. The endeavor towards the making of UAV's however, started in Jan 2002 itself as a B.Tech Project. The first objective of the B.Tech project was to design an Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) for a mini helicopter (6 kg weight with 4 kg payload capacity). AFCS developed during the project could stabilize the helicopter's 3 rotational degrees of freedom
