La startup ha cerrado la ronda gracias al apoyo de Repsol y el CDTI Wattio ha cerrado una ronda de inversión de 2M€ gracias al apoyo de Repsol y el CDTI. La startup, fundadad en 2010, se dedica a proveer soluciones que controlen los hogares a través del teléfono móvil. Su fundador, Patxi Echeveste, y su equipo, ha centrado la startup en herramientas orientadas al confort, la seguridad y el ahorro energético. Tras esta ronda, la empresa quiere potenciar tres áreas principales como son el producto, las ventas y los servicios. Todo ello a través de nuevos dispositivos, personas con experiencia en ventas, y con la ampliación de capacidades en Big Data. Después de tres años en el mercado, la startup ha convertido 5.000 hogares de España en Hogares Inteligentes gracias a 20.000 dispositivos conectados. La tecnología de Wattio es una tecnología propia que pretende seguir evolucionando y dando soluciones de calidad a los usuarios. Ahora su deseo es convertirse en la solución de Hogar Conectado de las grandes compañías; de ahí la importancia de la entrada de Repsol.
