Zweig named new group chair for NWA chapter of Vistage International

Sep 26, 2021

Zweig named new group chair for NWA chapter of Vistage International Mark Zweig of Fayetteville, an entrepreneur and developer, has been named group chair for the Northwest Arkansas chapter of Vistage International, a global peer advisory organization. Dating back to 1957, it is the oldest organization of its kind in the world, providing executive coaching while building and facilitating private advisory boards for CEOs, senior executives and business owners in 16 countries with more than 20,000 members. “Vistage is a great organization,” Zweig said. “The average Vistage member company grows 2.2 times as fast as other privately-held firms. That is an impressive number.” Zweig is replacing executive leadership coach Chuck Hyde of Siloam Springs, founder and principal of C3 Advisors. Hyde was selected as a Vistage Chair in Northwest Arkansas in 2017. He worked alongside the late Terrell “Terry” Bowen, who was the founding chair for the Northwest Arkansas chapter when it launched in 2016. Bowen died in a motorcycle accident in August 2019 while on vacation in Colorado. He was 61. Zweig is the founder of two Fayetteville-based Inc. 500/5000 companies. In October 2018, he sold his interests in Fayetteville-based Zweig Group, a media, publishing and consulting company for the architecture and engineering industries. Zweig started the company as Mark Zweig & Associates in Boston in 1988. It later became ZweigWhite in 1994, and then Zweig Group in 2014. Mark Zweig He also founded Mark Zweig Inc., a design/construction/development firm. He has authored 13 books on management, and is the former publisher of The Zweig Letter and Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine. Zweig is also entrepreneur-in-residence teaching entrepreneurship in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, and as you read on Page 4, a frequent Northwest Arkansas Business Journal contributor. “This new role is perfect for me,” Zweig said. “I have a large network here in Northwest Arkansas, and I have worked with CEOs my entire career. That said, I have some big shoes to fill. Chuck Hyde is a wonderful human. He’s very smart, he genuinely cares about our members, and he is super-conscientious.” Zweig’s role with Vistage started Sept. 1. He said the regional chapter will begin recruiting to fill out its member groups. Facebook Comments
