Prior to SageCreek he was CEO of Vivint Solar, a leading full-service residential solar integrator. At Altiris, he served as chairman of the board, president and CEO. Butterfield has several years of executive-level experience in the software industry. Butterfield has taken two companies public as CEO and has helped many of the companies in the portfolio have successful exits. Butterfield was invited to the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer. He was also the winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, was inducted into Utah’s technology Hall of Fame, was recipient of BYUs distinguished alumni award, and involved in many charities.
