Clifford Chance advises Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) on the financing of a 30 MW solar plant in Burkina Faso Clifford Chance advised Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), a member of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), on the signing of the financing documents for the financing of a 30 MW solar plant in Burkina Faso developed by Urbasolar SAS and its local partner, Projet Production Solaire (PPS). Burkina Faso has put in place a programme to attract private capital and expertise to build renewable energy capacity. The Urbasolar project is one of the first of the new green energy plants.
