Carly Behm - A surgeon debuting augmented reality-assisted technology and nine more orthopedic surgeons to know: John-Erik Bell, MD. Dr. Bell specializes in shoulder surgery, and he joined the hospital in 2006. He developed and debuted Medacta's NextAR augmented reality shoulder system. Eugene Bobroff, MD. Dublin (Calif.) Medical Offices and Cancer Center. Dr. Bobroff is a general orthopedist and specializes in hip and knee surgery. He received his medical degree at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. William Martin, MD. OSMO Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Owensboro (Ky.). Dr. Martin received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency and an internship at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis. Candice McDaniel, MD. Shriners Hospital for Children (Sacramento, Calif.). Dr. McDaniel is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, and her specialties include lower extremity sport injuries, scoliosis and clubfoot deformity. She received her medical degree from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Venkat Perumal, MD. University of Virginia School of Medicine (Charlotesville, Va.). Dr. Perumal joined UVA in 2013 and is a foot and ankle specialist. He also works as an assistant professor. Jason Rotstein, MD. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists (Schaumburg, Ill.). Dr. Rotstein specializes in sports medicine, knee and shoulder conditions. He received his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine, in Omaha, Neb., and completed his residency at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Medical Education and Research Center. Vincent Yamamoto, MD. Walnut Creek (Calif.) Medical Center. Dr. Yamamoto joined Kaiser Permanente health system in 1993. He specializes in total hip and knee reconstruction.
