Eberhart Capital Completes Acquisition of Unitherm Furnaces January 15, 2014 10:39 AM Eastern Standard Time WENTZVILLE, Mo.--( BUSINESS WIRE )--Privately held Eberhart Capital, LLC of Scottsdale, Az. today announced it is acquiring Unitherm Furnaces, LLC, according to officials from both companies. The terms were not disclosed. Eberhart Capital is expanding its portfolio of established manufacturing firms. This acquisition is a continuation of Eberhart Capital’s strategic initiative to add heavy industrial companies with successful track records and high-quality manufacturing. Unitherm Furnaces joins the oilfield service manufacturer Luft, LLC. “For Eberhart Capital this is an important opportunity to build upon the story that Frank Lim started in 1980. We were impressed with the diverse capabilities and product portfolio Unitherm brings with it. With their technical know-how and strong employee base, this transaction substantially contributes to our goal of building a highly capable manufacturer that services industrial clients from aerospace to railroads,” said Dan K. Eberhart, managing partner of Eberhart Capital. Unitherm Furnaces, based in Wentzville, Mo., is a leader in industrial furnace manufacturing. Their industrial-sized furnaces are commonly used in ceramics and metal forging manufacturing processes. Unitherm Furnaces is well known for heat treatment, as well as creating custom systems designed to customer’s specific requirements, focusing on energy efficiency and ease of maintenance throughout the United States. Frank Lim, Unitherm Furnaces president, said the acquisition will not mean any immediate changes to current Unitherm Furnaces policies. Lim and Ron Kientzy, manager, will remain in their leadership roles after the acquisition. “For our customers and employees, it will remain business as usual,” Kientzy said. “Our customers will continue to receive the same high level of manufacturing and service, and will not notice any significant changes.
