Acodis , the leading Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform, raised CHF 6 million in a Series A funding round led by Hi Inov and VI Partners. The new funds will be used to further expand Acodis’ position as the leading document Processing platform for the pharma and health sector. "The financing is a clear sign of Acodis' market relevance and the value we provide to our customers," said Acodis CEO Martin Keller. "We note an accelerating demand from enterprises to unlock unstructured data from documents for business process automation and for enabling data analytics initiatives." Acodis, which was named Turicode until rebranding in 2021, is based in Winterthur, Switzerland, and currently employs 25 people. The company supports businesses in optimizing the use of unstructured data from documents (PDF, word, scans, etc.). Its no-code platform allows business users to set up and customize AI models for any document type and in any language. The SaaS solution is trusted by the largest pharma companies, which tend to grapple with ever-increasing regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements. Acodis reached significant milestones in the past year, including winning and onboarding 3 of the 10 largest pharma companies to automate document processing at scale; launching a no-code platform for advanced document analysis and document structure extraction; and earning multiple awards.
