Carmen joined Tudor Ventures in 1996. Prior to joining Tudor, Carmen worked for Triumph Capital Group, a Boston based private equity firm investing in later stage companies.</br></br>
Carmen focuses on internet related businesses, software, and business services. He has led or co-led Tudor's investments in a number of companies, including Art Technology Group (NASDAQ: ARTG), Captura Software (acquired by Concur Technologies - NASDAQ: CNQR), Chordiant Software (NASDAQ: CHRD), GAIN Capital, Global Cash Access, Managed Storage International, MediaBridge (NASDAQ: ENGA), Recruitmax (acquired by Taleo Corporation - NASDAQ: TLEO), and Shoebuy (IAC/InterActive Corp. - NASDAQ: IACI). Carmen currently serves on the Board of Directors of Batanga, Inc., Incentra Solutions, Inc., Tract Manager, Inc., Turbine, Inc., Velocity Technology, Inc. and Wimba, Inc.
Carmen is a graduate of Harvard College, with a degree in Economics, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Steve Arnold is co-founder of Polaris Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, and is co-founder and vice chairman of the George Lucas Educational Foundation, creators of www.edutopia.org. He also serves on the boards of The Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning, Enlearn, The Teaching Channel, and The New Mexico School for the Arts. Steve has been involved for more than 20 years in a wide range of projects and organizations dedicated to improving the quality of education in America.
