At the same time, TTCU announced the launch of SOS - Support Our Schools, a major matching pledge fundraising effort to raise significant funds for area school districts. The campaign goal is $4 million. So far, campaign supporters have pledged to match community donations up to $1.5 million. Three major Tulsa-based foundations - George Kaiser Family Foundation, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and Zarrow Family Foundations - have collectively pledged to support the campaign with up to $500,000. Other donors committing to the project include Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and American Airlines. TTCU encourages every school district to rally their patrons, parents and communities to participate in helping local schools. The easiest way to donate is online through the Tulsa Community Foundation at www.TulsaCF.org, or you can also go to www.ttcu.com for additional information and a link to the foundation's web site. You can also donate by cash or check at any TTCU location. Make your check payable to:  Tulsa Community Foundation. Always designate "SOS Fund" and the school district to receive the funds in the memo line. Statewide, Oklahoma school districts are facing a $60 million shortfall. The shortfall for Tulsa area schools alone accounts for more than $6 million. The same shortfall, plus additional cuts, will impact school districts again next year
