The Sims 4: High School Years - How to Use the Trendi App

Oct 4, 2023

Published 4 minutes ago Trendi is a popular app among Teens in The Sims 4: High School Years that can be used to make easy mone. The Sims 4 has expanded on how Sims can make money outside the standard career format. Several work-from-home options like freelance work, book-selling, spa services, and more have been added to the game through updates and DLC. For example, The Sims 4: High School Years included a new part-time career and a unique way to sell clothes with the Trendi app. Trendi goes hand in hand with the new thrifting feature also introduced in the pack. However, Sims will need to learn to keep up with clothing trends if they hope to use it to earn Simoleons successfully. This guide has everything players need to know about Trendi in The Sims 4: High School Years. What is Trendi in The Sims 4 Trendi is an app automatically downloaded to Teen and older Sims phones. Sims can use it to sell clothes and outfits from ThrifTea. ThrifTea is found in Copperdale, the world in The Sims 4: High School Years , at Prescott Square and doubles as a tea shop and thrift store. ThrifTea has exclusive clothes that update daily. Whenever Sims purchase items from ThrifTea, they appear in their inventory and can be worn or sold on the Trendi app. While using Trendi, Sims can learn about Trendi, browse it for clothes, view their followers , check the latest trends, list their looks, or promote posted looks. Clothes must be styled before Sims can upload them to Trendi. To design a Trendi look, Sims must click on a Clothing Rack inside ThrifTea or buy one from Build/Buy mode . Then select "Create a fashion look." This takes them to a Create-A-Sim menu that only displays available clothes in ThrifTea. Players can set the mannequin body type, view the style classification, and name the look from there. When the outfit is complete, Sims will find it inside a ThrifTea in their inventory. Whenever they list the look on Trendi , they can set the sell price using the recommended market price or make it lower or higher. If it is too expensive, Sims are unlikely to purchase the listing. The best way to guarantee they will be bought is to check the style trends, have many followers, and keep the price reasonable. Sims can also promote their looks from the Trendi app by wearing them, but this could negatively or positively affect them. Interested Sims will make an offer that players can accept or deny. After accepting the offer, they must go to their mailbox and ship it to the buyer. The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
