Maestro Felipe Prazeres assume orquestra do Theatro Municipal do Rio

ISTOÉ Dinheiro 07/08/22 - 13h08 O maestro Felipe Prazeres é o novo regente da Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal (OSTM) do Rio de Janeiro. Sua estreia será no próximo dia 12, às 19h, no Concerto Sinfônico da Série Vozes – Noite de Música Francesa, que contará com a participação de dois solistas: o spalla (primeiro músico) do naipe de violoncelos da orquestra, Marcelo Salles, e a soprano paulistana de carreira internacional, Gabriella Pace. A abertura da Ópera Le Roy D’Ys, de Edouard Lalo, que este ano é celebrado pelos 130 anos de morte, será executada pela primeira vez no Rio de Janeiro, seguida do Concerto para Violoncelo N° 1, de Camille Saint-Saëns. A segunda parte do programa é dedicada a árias francesas, entre as quais Elle a fui, la tourterelle, de Os Contos de Hoffman, de Offenbach. O programa terá ainda outra celebração: os 180 anos de aniversário de nascimento de Massenet, com Adieu notre petite table, da ópera Manon, e fechará com Me voilà seule dans la nuit, da ópera O Pescador de Pérolas, composta por Georges Bizet. Em entrevista à Agência Brasil, Felipe Prazeres afirmou que ficou muito feliz com o convite e que está ansioso por fazer um bom trabalho. Ele disse ainda que a regência da orquestra do Theatro Municipal, em substituição ao maestro Ira Levin que deixou o cargo há cerca de oito meses, será, na verdade, um reencontro. Prazeres tocou na orquestra como violinista em 2000 e 2001, participando de diversas produções artísticas. Em abril de 2022, após o início da normalização das atividades, pós pandemia de covid-19, ele regeu, pela primeira vez, a OSTM. “Eu abri a temporada do Theatro Municipal regendo. Foi no concerto de estreia da temporada e não imaginei que fosse receber esse convite alguns meses depois, apesar de ter acontecido um flerte entre mim e a orquestra. Eu estava na lista de maestros que a orquestra gostaria que estivesse lá”. Com o nome sugerido pelos próprios músicos, Prazeres disse que se sente à vontade na nova função. “A orquestra quis que eu viesse. Isso é fundamental, porque eu sou músico de orquestra, transito nesses dois lugares. Sei muito o que músicos de orquestra passam, das demandas que uma orquestra precisa. Então, de certa forma, acho legítimo ter o respaldo dos músicos para poder assumir a orquestra”. Para a presidente da Fundação Teatro Municipal, Clara Paulino, Felipe Prazeres é recebido com alegria na equipe. “O maestro que já atuou em concertos no Theatro irá somar seu conhecimento aos demais membros da OSTM e, com certeza, ofereceremos um trabalho de grande excelência ao nosso público”, comemorou Clara. O diretor artístico do Theatro, Eric Herrero, disse estar muito feliz com a chegada do maestro. “Músico de excelência, que contribuirá enormemente com o Theatro Municipal e nossa temporada.” Felipe Prazeres é ainda diretor artístico e cofundador da orquestra Johann Sebastian Rio, principal orquestra de câmara do Rio de Janeiro, e atua como spalla da Orquestra Sinfônica da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), onde também rege concertos desde 2013. Na função de regente, esteve à frente de orquestras como a World Youth Symphony, na Itália, Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica, Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia, Orquestra Sinfônica da UFRJ, Orquestra Sinfônica Nacional (OSN-UFF) e Camerata Sesi.
