Circular fashion service The Restory has been liquidated, with Newcastle-Upon-Tyne accountants RMT appointed as administrators, Drapers can reveal. Share Exclusive Jacobs said in February: “I am grateful to all that trusted us; I'm in awe of all the amazing people we got to work with, and I'm extremely proud of the brand we built. “It’s been my greatest work and biggest honour to make a significant contribution to this space.” Drapers has learned that the liquidation announcement took place today. RMT refused to comment on whether the company had been appointed administrators of the business. The Restory was founded in 2015 by the trio of co-founders as an aftercare service that altered and repaired items such as bags and shoes, and had retail partnerships with Farfetch, Harrods and Harvey Nichols. It was one of the pioneers of circular luxury fashion repair. Advertisement
