iMedX Announces Acquisition of the Medical Transcription Assets of The Inner Office Ltd. March 6, 2012 by Stephen Campbell iMedX Inc., a leading healthcare software and services company, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the medical transcription assets from The Inner Office Ltd..  With this acquisition, iMedX adds TIO’s many clinics, hospitals, and surgery centers, primarily in Ohio to its customer base. As a result of this acquisition, iMedX will benefit from an expanded base of customers and greater penetration in Ohio. TIO’s customers will have access to advanced technology through iMedX’s cloud-based healthcare information solutions – TurboFlow® transcription management platform, TurboScribe® document management, and TurboRx® electronic prescribing. Additionally iMedX’s TurboDox™ – a blend of technology and process – will increase physician usage of EHRs through dictation, and will help doctors remain productive even as EHR’s are being implemented. Venkat Sharma, iMedX’s President and CEO, along with the current iMedX management team, will lead the combined companies.
