September 7, 2017 While pet care startup Tailslife has raised a bridge round of funding, RPG Ventures has invested $1 million in Seniority, an online portal that sells elderly-care products to senior citizens. Pet care startup Tailslife raises bridge round Pet care startup Tailslife has raised a bridge round of funding of an undisclosed amount from existing investor and chairman of Exfinity Ventures V Balakrishnan. The company is still in the process of raising the round, as it has received commitments from other investors as well. In December last year, TailsLife has received an undisclosed amount in seed funding from investors including Encube Venture Partners, Mohan Kumar of Norwest Ventures , V Balakrishnan of Exfinity Ventures, Satish Tembad, Vineet Jain and Nishanth Ramkutty. “We will utilise the latest round of investment to add more value to our services and products line-up in the coming months. Soon, we will offer on-demand services and healthy meal solutions for pets,“ said Balaji Ramesh, CEO at TailsLife. Founded in November 2015 by Ramesh and Kanishk Lihala, Bengaluru-based TailsLife provides content and services for pet care needs including booking grooming parlours, boardings centres and vets in the vicinity. RPG Ventures invests $1m in elderly care products portal Seniority The venture-capital arm Indian conglomerate RPG Group has invested $1 million in Seniority, an online portal that sells elderly-care products to senior citizens, said a report in The Economic Times. We are excited by the market and its unique facets. It is a highly discerning and demanding market that requires products that must have immense practical application and ease of use,“ said RPG Enterprises Chairman Harsh Goenka. RPG Ventures owns a majority stake in Seniority , while the rest is owned by the two founders -Ayush Agrawal and Tapan Mishra.
