OMERS Private Equity invests US $100M in Clairvest owned NovaSource Power Services CPE News (8.10.2022) – OMERS Private Equity has invested US $100 million for a minority stake in NovaSource Power Services. Financial details were not disclosed. The transaction is in partnership with NovaSource’s leadership team and Clairvest Group Inc. (TSX: CVG), which will continue as the majority equity holder of NovaSource. Chandler, Arizona based NovaSource is a global leader in solar operations and maintenance (O&M) services to utility, commercial, industrial, and residential customers, with over 20GW of solar assets under management. NovaSource operates a global footprint with a presence in North America, South America, EMEA, Asia, and Australia. It is the largest independent Solar O&M provider in the United States and globally. In May 2020, Clairvest Group, through CEP VI Co-Investment Limited Partnership, and Clairvest Equity Partners VI Limited Partnership invested US $30.2 million to acquire the solar operations and maintenance business of SunPower Corporation. Upon closing the business was renamed as NovaSource Power Services. As at march 31, 2022, Clairvest entities owned 86.8% fully diluted stake in NovSource. Clairvest Group, through CEP VI Co-Investment, reported 23.5% a fully diluted basis at a cost of US $29.7 million.
