Delhi-based healthcare service platform MedTrail raised Rs 6.37 crore, led by Strive, formerly known as GREE Ventures, according to media reports. Other participants in the round include LetsVenture, Miten Sampat, vice president of corporate development at Times Internet, Jamil Khatri, partner at KPMG and Dubai- based family fund Diverse Middle East FZE. According to a report in Entrackr, Strive invested Rs 2.2 crore in the company, followed by LetsVenture which invested Rs 1.59 crore. MedTrail, founded in 2017 by IIT Madras alumnus Mohit Mittal and Nikhil Agrawal, provides a platform for post-consultation care to doctors and healthcare service providers. The platform helps health professionals convert their clinics into smart clinics, and helps communicate between patients, pharmacies, diagnostic labs, pharmaceutical and insurance companies. Prior to starting the company, Mittal was head at messaging app Hike Labs and Agrawal was head of business operations at Shipsy. Developments in the segment July 2019: Health tech platform mfine, which helps patients connect with doctors and diagnostic labs on a single app, raised Rs 31 crore in debt from Alteria Capital soon after it had raised Series Be round from SBI Investment.
