The sale proceeds are £1.25mln in cash and Chamberlin has a 10-year lease for the property at an initial rent of £125,000 per annum for the first 5 years, increasing to £150,000 per annum for years 6 to 10. 05 May 2022 At the start of the AGM season we wrote that every vote counts , but Barclays PLC, Rio Tinto PLC, Standard Chartered PLC and  Ocado Group PLC  over the past 24 hours said they will carry on regardless, despite significant opposition votes on their climate and pay plans. After over 19% of shareholder votes went against its climate plan, Barclays bosses said they will continue investment in oil and gas. 05 May 2022 Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF)  has reported an adjusted net earnings jump of 21% and said production is on pace to meet its 2022 guidance, according to its latest quarterly results. For the three months ended March 31, 2022, the company posted adjusted net earnings of US$122 million, $0.49 per share, up 21% from $101 million, $0.48 per share, in the first quarter of 2021. If Aviva gets sufficient backing for its plan, shareholders can look forward to receiving some free shares that Aviva will immediately purchase. Institutional investors are probably used to this sort of bizarre procedure (which is being done for tax purposes, as will be explained later) but it probably seems a bit baffling to the insurance giant's many legions of private shareholders. 05 May 2022 Just Eat NV (LSE:JET, NASDAQ:GRUB)   has partnered with Domino's Pizza PLC to become the only food delivery app in the UK and Ireland to offer Domino's pizza. The housebuilder also called on the UK government to reconsider its plans to extend the scope of the Building Safety Levy. It termed the levy "unjust and disproportionate", saying it penalises UK builders who were not responsible for most of the historical buildings or issues requiring remediation, and fails to allocate the cost of remediation to those responsible. 05 May 2022 Cobra Resources PLC (LSE:COBR) said rare earth elements (REEs) were intersected across a broad region connecting the Baggy Green and Clarke prospects at the Wudinna project in South Australia.
