Candid Aeby, der die ICT-Branche vor rund zwei Jahren in Richtung Thailand verliess, hat einen neuen Job. Laut seinem Linkedin-Profil ist er seit September als Channeldirektor Schweiz bei Snom Technology beschäftigt. Snom ist ein Full-Service-Anbieter rund um IP-Telefonie und bietet von Handset über Headset bis hin zu gehosteten Telefonieanlagen Kommunikationslösungen für professionelle Anwender. Als Channeldirektor für die Schweiz verantwortet Aeby das indirekte Geschäft von Snom hierzulande. Il fenomeno delle Huddle Room sta acquisendo sempre più popolarità tra le piccole e grandi imprese, complice la tendenza a lavorare in mobilità e, spesso e volentieri, a casa o in viaggio. Il meeting estemporaneo vive così un revival in ambito professionale, il che ha spinto alcuni produttori a realizzare nuove e più avanzate soluzioni per le conferenze: tra questi, Snom dispone di una delle migliori tecnologie per questo tipo di attività, proponendo dispositivi convenienti e facili da usare. Trasformare il proprio ufficio o un ufficio temporaneamente libero in una Huddle Room per riunioni veloci e senza ulteriori indugi è molto più in linea con le esigenze di flessibilità della quotidianità lavorativa". Per le Huddle Room, Snom ha realizzato la chiavetta A230 DECT-USB ed il modulo di espansione C52-SP, grazie ai quali ogni telefono da tavolo targato Snom può essere convertito in una soluzione per conferenze e questo, come spiega Hennes, "in ogni ufficio, senza costi di investimento elevati, senza grandi sforzi tecnici o numeri di telefono aggiuntivi per la sala conferenze". Sfruttando l'altoparlante full duplex integrato nel C52-SP, i partecipanti presenti nella Huddle Room potranno beneficiare di una qualità audio HD, di gran lunga migliore rispetto ai tradizionali altoparlanti per PC o laptop. La stessa qualità del suono viene garantita per Snom C520-WiMi, che integra due microfoni DECT portatili che potranno essere staccati e utilizzati allontanandosi dall'unità base.
