Pavilion Energy has received its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo with a Statement of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (SGE) from QatarEnergy at the Singapore LNG Terminal. Energy companies can use SGE to verify statements of Greenhouse Gas emissions associated with producing and delivering LNG cargoes from wellhead to discharge terminals. Since its publication in 2021, the SGE methodology has been applied on six delivered LNG cargoes. Jointly published by Pavilion Energy, QatarEnergy, and Chevron, the SGE methodology seek to become the standard in measuring, reporting, and verifying emissions along the LNG value chain to drive transparency and enable robust reduction measures.
