Tysons Corner, Va.-based Cvent (NYSE: CVT) said it expects SignUp4 to contribute $1.5 million in revenue for the remainder of 2015. “Our acquisition of SignUp4 enhances our market position, bringing Cvent a strong customer base and additional event management functionality,” said Cvent CEO Reggie Aggarwal , in a statement. “We believe our increasingly comprehensive product suites for customers on both sides of the meetings and events ecosystem, combined with our expanding leadership position, will enable Cvent to capture a disproportionate share of the opportunity ahead of us.” Founded in 1999, Cvent is a cloud-based enterprise event management platform with services for event and meeting planners, and hotels and venues. It generated $41.1 million in revenue and a net loss of $2.4 million, or a loss per share of 6 cents, in the first quarter of 2015. Related links:
