Sea Power Ltd is a progressive marine R&D and engineering company located right at the world's most energetic wave energy resource. Driven by the realities of changing climate and the changing global energy market, Sea Power has invented, designed and developed a Wave Energy Converter device known as the SeaPower Platform in 2008 which is already impacting the wave energy sector. The SeaPower Platform has yielded significant power results from numerical analysis followed by independent validation in wave basin laboratories. Its Power Curve and site-specific Power Matrix greatly out-perform those of other well known developers.

19 May 2023 by Dr. Lee Willett The UK has confirmed its intentions to equip the RN's five Type 31 general-purpose frigates with the Lockheed Martin Mk 41 vertical launching system (VLS). (Royal Navy) The UK Royal Navy (RN) has revealed plans to install the Lockheed Martin Mk 41 vertical launching system (VLS) into its five new Type 31 Inspiration-class general-purpose frigates. The fit will expand the range of missiles and capabilities the ships can deliver.
