SaneBox Review: Clear Your Email Inbox in Minutes

Nov 10, 2022

November 10, 2022 - Advertisement - Could your email inbox be less cluttered? In this SaneBox review, I show you how you can boost email productivity, and work a whole lot smarter while making sure your important emails are attended to. - Advertisement - - Advertisement - Save several hours a month Quickly identify and focus important emails Get zero inboxes without losing emails Stay productive You’ll be able to achieve all of the above with SaneBox, but first, what exactly is this handy tool, and what does it do? SaneBox is an inexpensive email inbox management tool that helps users organize their inboxes, prioritize emails, reduce clutter in their inboxes, and generally become more productive when it comes to handling emails. Huh. Other things you can do with SaneBox include the ability to snooze emails with SaneLater, enable Do Not Disturb mode, auto-trash useless emails with easy-to-set-up filters, and even That includes tracking emails for replies. How does Senbox work? Getting started is easy. Simply create an account on SaneBox and follow the following procedure to clean your email accounts. Type your email address and password, and click Clean Inbox to begin the cleanup process. SaneBox starts analyzing your email. Depending on the number of email messages you have, this process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. When SaneBox Robot is done, only important emails will be placed in your inbox, while the rest will be moved to a separate (new) folder called SaneLater. Next, review your inbox emails, and if you can still see unimportant emails, just drag them to the SaneLater folder, and the algorithm will remember it for future emails from this sender. This is just the basics of email discretion that you can get from SaneBox. To get the best out of the tool, you need to take advantage of all the features that it offers. We dig deeper into each feature below. SaneBox Overview Video Why Senbox? 7 Key SaneBox Features That Make It Awesome a) Do Not Disturb Mode When turned on, this handy feature temporarily moves all new email to the Do Not Disturb folder. You can even set up a custom away message to cut back on follow-up emails during the holiday. To enable this feature, log in to your account, and from the left navigation, click Do Not Disturb and set it to stop. This feature has 3 built-in key customization options, giving you more control and flexibility: Set it to only receive new emails at certain times of the day. That way you don’t have to constantly check your inbox, a habit that lowers your productivity at work, with the feature to automatically remove it at a certain date or time. For example, you can pause email every Monday at 3:00 PM, or at a certain time that you set aside to read email. For very important emails, set a delivery exception. That way, these emails will always arrive in your inbox. Think VIP clients. You can turn on this feature whenever you’re away from your devices, such as during your focus hours, at night, on vacation, and on weekends. You will need to set up and supply Keyword Pass to the senders you want to bypass the Do Not Disturb folder. b) SaneBox auto reply message You can use the auto-reply message feature in your custom folders, snooze folders and Do Not Disturb folders. It’s a simple way to send emails letting senders know you’ve received their emails and give more information about when you’ll reply or direct them to take next steps. SaneBox sends auto-reply messages to your contact only once per hold period. So if a sender replies to your auto-reply message, SaneBox will not resend the message. c) SaneBox SaneLater Folder By default, SaneBox moves all your unimportant messages from the inbox to a dedicated SaneLater folder. However, you can further categorize them and send them to specific custom folders. SaneLater emails will then be summarized for you with the SaneBox Digest feature. When it comes to SaneLater there are two main customization options you can take advantage of: Training SaneBox to Allow All New Contacts to Access the Inbox: Simply move the email from SaneLater back to the Inbox, and SaneBox will remember it for similar emails in the future. d) SaneBox Digest For first time users of any email cleaning tool, there is an innate fear of missing out or missing important emails. AI can’t fix it all the time, can it? Well, this is where Daily Digest comes in. This tool allows you to have a quick overview of all new, unimportant emails sent to different folders. The digest only includes emails you haven’t seen. By default, SaneBox sends the digest once a day between 2:00 – 5:00 PM, but you can customize it based on your schedule. e) Sane Black Hole With this feature, you can train SaneBox AI to automatically send unwanted emails to the SaneBlackHole folder by dragging them here or by using other features like subject filter, domain filter, or SaneBox Digest. Emails in this folder are automatically trashed after they are 7 days old, giving you time to return any emails if necessary. This is an effective way to deal with unwanted email because unsubscribing often signals to senders that your email is being actively maintained, which can result in them adding you to even more lists. f) SaneBox Snooze Feature You can use SaneBox Snooze Folders to hold emails for a certain period of time before they reach the inbox. Use this feature to postpone emails that are not important or immediately actionable. For example, you can postpone all transactional emails such as receipts to a day that you set aside for processing. There are default snooze folders like @SaneTomorrow and @SaneNextWeek for individual emails by the next day or week respectively. You can also create custom folders where you can set a date and time when emails are returned to your inbox. g) Senbox Reminder This is your email outreach assistant that reminds you when your important emails haven’t been answered or acted upon. Here are 3 use cases for implementing this feature: Postpone processing an email until later. (Just forward the email to a reminder address) Personal reminder When there is no response to the email you sent, you are being notified so you can follow up. (To use this feature, add a reminder address as CC or BCC when sending an email.) h) Sen Attachment — Auto-save to the cloud There are five main reasons why attachments are saved in the cloud: Save on quota for large attachments for easy tracing security modification purposes (documents). enable collaboration Sen attachments to work with your existing cloud solutions like Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, and Evernote. (iCloud is not supported) If you have multiple email accounts registered with SaneBox, you can activate a different cloud service based on your needs. Please note that this feature is not retroactive, so it only works with new attachments that you receive after you turn on the feature and authorize your cloud solution. How does this work? The Sen Attachment feature saves the attachment to a specified folder in your cloud storage solution and then removes the attachment from the email. There are many things you can do with this feature with the customization options available to you: Choose Which Wise Folders Can Upload Attachments Automatically add a link to an email pointing to an uploaded attachment to your cloud. Decide whether the attachment link above should appear at the top or bottom of the email, making your attachment accessible only to people with the share link by selecting Don’t make attachments public. Save a copy of the original (unmodified) email (this copy can be saved in the Trash folder or the @SaneOldAttachment box) SaneBox Reviews Advantages and Disadvantages of SaneBox SaneBox’s smart AI makes it easy to automatically send incoming emails to specific boxes, helping you keep your inbox from cluttering up.
