Music Ally April 14, 2023 Two new companies in this space have popped up in recent days: Samply and Myxt . Samply is setting its cap squarely at anyone using non-music-focused services like Dropbox and Google Drive to share and collaborate on files. Time-stamped comments and video-call listening sessions are part of its package too. Meanwhile, Myxt also offers storage, sharing and feedback features, with an extra twist of creative AI tools for mastering. The company has raised $2m of seed funding led by Accel and Quiet Capital to continue building its service. Both companies come with big-tech creds: one of Samply’s founders is a former Tesla software engineer, while Myxt’s founders count Google, Twitter and Stripe on their engineering resumés. This is an increasingly busy space though. Byta, Highnote and Delic are among the other startups we’ve covered in this area while another, Audiomovers, was bought by Abbey Road Studios in 2021 .
