David Schwab

Dave has a 15 year operating background in engineering management at Lockheed Martin, sales management at Sun Microsystems and executive management at Scopus Technology. At Lockheed his projects involved guidance and control systems for airplanes and satellites. At Sun he managed a local sales territory in Santa Clara, CA. After his tenure at Sun, he co-founded Scopus Technology, an IPO success story in the CRM space. Scopus was subsequently sold to Siebel Systems in a $500M transaction. Dave started his venture career at Sierra Ventures where he helped build the Enterprise Software Practice. He also created and managed the CIO Advisory Board to a strength of 75 Fortune 500 CIOs in multiple vertical markets. At Vertical Venture Partners his focus is vertical CRM, business intelligence applications, mobile, and university commercialization. Some of Dave’s prior investments include Micromuse (NASDAQ: MUSE; sold to IBM), Saleslogix (NASDAQ: SLGX; sold to Sage), Fatbrain (NASDAQ: CMPL), 360Commerce (sold to Oracle), Parature (sold to Microsoft), Corrigo (sold to JLL), On-Link (sold to Siebel Systems) and Opalis (sold to Microsoft). Joseph Whitters

Mr. Whitters joined Frazier Healthcare Ventures in 2005 as a Senior Advisor to the Growth Equity investment team and became an Operating Partner in 2009. Previously, Mr. Whitters was the Chief Financial Officer for First Health (FHCC), a managed care organization. During Mr. Whitters' tenure with FHCC (1986 to 2005), the company grew from $5 million in revenue and 100 employees to approximately $900 million in revenue and 6000 employees. Mr. Whitters assisted with taking FHCC public in 1987 at a split adjusted price of $.69 a share and with the eventual sale of the company in early 2005 for $1.8 billion or $19 per share. Prior to FHCC, Mr. Whitters held various financial positions with United Healthcare and Overland Express. Mr. Whitters began his career in public accounting with Peat Marwick. He has an accounting degree from Luther College in Iowa and is a CPA. Currently, Mr. Whitters is on the board of two Frazier Healthcare portfolio companies, Zonare Medical Systems and Pentech Health, Inc. and he previously served on the board of Aspen Education Group (acquired by CRC Health in 2006) and Mentor Corporation (acquired by Johnson and Johnson in 2009). Vispi Daver

Vispi Daver is a Partner at Sierra Ventures and has been at the Firm since 2004. He is responsible for software investments in the US and for driving the Firm's cross-border investments in India. Vispi serves on the boards of Parature, Revionics, Razorsight and CarWale (India) and is a board observer at Approva, MakeMyTrip.com (India), Greenplum and Code Green Networks. Vispi also manages the Firm's investment in Seedfund, a seed stage venture fund based in India. While at Sierra he has also served as VP of Business Development at one of the Firm's portfolio companies, Sourcefire (NASD: FIRE). Prior to Sierra Ventures, Vispi's tenure includes a broad range of operational roles in the United States and India. He was in the Corporate Development group at Network Associates (McAfee, Inc.), a large-cap public company in infrastructure software, where his responsibilities covered acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investments. Prior to McAfee, Vispi ran product management for myCIO.com, a company that pioneered the delivery of desktop software online through the Internet. myCIO.com was among the first software companies to deliver product in a Software as a Services (SaaS) format. Vispi began his career in India in the manufacturing industry. He worked in an operational capacity in both public and private companies. At Uniworth International, he was a member of senior management in the company's apparel division. During the early part of his career in India, Vispi worked in startup companies that had diversified interests in mechanical engineering. Vispi has an MBA with Distinction from Yale University and a BS in Combined Sciences from Santa Clara University.
