Established in the 1950s, the company specializes in vegetation management, primarily for the railroad industry in Western United States. Reforestation Services, Inc. utilizes on-track hi-rail equipment, as well as off-track trucks on railroad properties for spraying, weed-eating, brush and species-specific maintenance. Reforestation Services is well known for its quality work on Class I and shortline railroads. The acquisition of Reforestation Services, Inc. is an excellent strategic fit for DBi Services’ continued expansion, and a perfect complement to its existing vegetation management and diversified services capabilities. The company’s well-maintained fleet adds to DBi Services’ existing footprint, further expanding its resource capabilities across the United States. DBi will operate Reforestation Services, Inc. under the name DBi Services, maintaining operations in the current Salem, Oregon location. Stan Rogers initial focus will be on an effective integration to ensure operations are transitioned efficiently into DBi Services.
