Prior to joining Francisco Partners, Chris was an Associate at American Securities Capital Partners, where he evaluated and executed private equity transactions in a variety of industries including energy, defense, and consumer products. Previously, Chris was a Senior Associate Consultant in the Atlanta, Sao Paulo, and Sydney offices of Bain & Company. Mr. Perlman serves on the board of directors of Aconex, AdvancedMD, API Healthcare, Attachmate, Attenti, Healthland, QuadraMed, and T-System. Prior to joining Francisco Partners, Mr. Perlman was a venture capitalist with Battery Ventures, where he was involved in identifying, executing and managing private equity investments in software companies. John Trzeciak is an operating advisor with Francisco Partners, with more than 20 years of board, operations and advisory experience in healthcare information technology. John’s background includes co-founding Health Systems International, now part of 3M. He has served as interim Chief Executive Officer for Lynx Medical Systems, Healthland (formerly Dairyland), AdvancedMD, and Quantros.
Victor Kats joined Ascension Ventures in 2009 from Allscripts-Misys, a $3 billion healthcare information technology company, where he led corporate development, strategy and integration activities. Victor leads Ascension Ventures' investments in the healthcare information technology sector and brings an operating perspective across the acute care, ambulatory and post acute continuum. He is a Director of Ingenious Med, Phreesia, Quantros, Vivify Health and a Board Observer at GetWellNetwork. He is past Director of MedVentive which was sold to McKesson in 2012. Prior to his tenure at Allscripts-Misys, Victor served as Vice President at Lehman Brothers where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the communications, media and technology sectors. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is married with four children and enjoys playing golf, tennis and watching North Carolina basketball.
