Commanding a position at the nexus of security and the network Q1 Labs aims to provide organizations with realtime network security management for the enterprise. Q1 Labs product QRadar integrates the functionality of network anomaly detection application flow analysis and event management and aims to deliver one holistic view of enterprise security from one console providing unmatched network security intelligence and realtime enforcement for the enterprise. In October 2011, Q1 Labs was acquired by IBM. Q1 Labs' valuation and terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. At the time of acquistiion, Q1 Labs stated it had 32 of the Fortune 100 as customers, and that revenue grew 75 percent in 2010. IBM said it picked up Q1 Labs for its advanced analytics and correlation capabilities, which automatically detect and flag deviant actions across an enterprise. The technology can help to prevent breaches such as an employee accessing unauthorized information.
