Backers included Ad4Ventures as well as private investors selected by Banca Esperia. The company intends to use the funds to launch a TV campaign, develop the e-commerce platform, hire new people and expand the catalog. Founder in 2012 by CEO Leonardo Cucchiarini and Maria Cecilia Andretta, PrivateGriffe allows people to buy and sell second-hand, high-quality fashion items for women, men and kids including bags, shoes, clothes, jewels, and accessories. The company, which had raised €1.2m at the beginning of 2014 (read here ), allows people to open an online boutique, upload and sell products. When they are sold, Privategriffe will take, control and deliver the items. It then will make the payment to the seller. FinSMEs
