At RSNA 2023, healthcare AI startup Paige announced a partnership with Nuance to launch what the companies say is “the largest digital consultation network in pathology.” Paige’s digital pathology tools will be embedded into PowerShare, Nuance’s nationwide image sharing network with the goal of connecting more pathology labs to expert second opinions.

Après l’acquisition de TravelCar (location de véhicules entre voyageurs et de places de parking) au début du mois (lire aussi : TravelCar passe les clés à un actionnaire industriel ), le constructeur automobile tricolore coté fait sont entrée au capital de la startup chinoise Fengche dont c'est le premier tour de table, pour un montant tenu confidentiel. Fondée à Shanghai en 2015, c'est l'une des pionnières sur le marché des services de gestion du véhicule d’occasion en Chine, proposant aux constructeurs, groupes de distribution automobile, concessionnaires de moyenne et grande taille-, un système de gestion et de vente, des plates-formes B2B et des conseils en stratégie commerciale. Le constructeur coté a enregistré l'an passé un record de vente, de chiffre d’affaires, et de résultat : 6,8% de croissance des ventes, à 3,88 millions de véhicules, 18,9% de progression du chiffre d’affaires, à 74 Md€, 40,4% de hausse du résultat net à 3,295 Md€ ou encore 3,501 Md€ de Free Cash Flow. Coté à Shanghai, Joeone, groupe chinois de mode masculine, se lie à la marque originale tricolore Maison Kitsuné , regroupant principalement deux activités : un label discographique et une ligne de vêtements. Cofondée par Gildas Loaëc (l’agent du duo de musique électronique Daft Punk) et Masaya Kuroki en 2002 à Paris, Kitsuné, qui signifie renard en japonais, crée avec son partenaire chinois une JV pour la Chine continentale, Hong Kong et Macao. Joeone injecte environ 10 M€ pour 50 % du capital de la coentreprise alors que l’enseigne française cède ses droits de la marque dans cette zone excluant ses activités de café, parfum et de produits cosmétiques. La coentreprise chinoise y distribue les vêtements, accessoires, bagages, cosmétiques, parfums etc. Pour mémoire, Maison Kitsuné compte un actionnaire minoritaire japonais, Stripe International, qui s’était invité au capital en octobre 2016 ( lire aussi notre chronique précédente ). Alliance Ventures , fonds de capital-risque de Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, investit dans la société chinoise PowerShare, gestionnaire des bornes de recharge pour les véhicules électriques. Le montant du ticket n’est pas communiqué. L’opération réaffirme la volonté de l’alliance automobile franco-japonaise de se déployer dans les révolutions de demain. PowerShare est une plateforme en ligne permettant de créer des liens entre les conducteurs de véhicules électriques, les opérateurs de bornes de recharge et les fournisseurs d'électricité. La plateforme optimise la gestion de véhicules électriques, via le cloud,  en suivant les besoins des véhicules, la capacité du réseau électrique pour orienter les conducteurs vers les bornes de recharges disponibles. Le Renault K-ZE, modèle SUV électrique conçu pour répondre à la demande chinoise, utilisera les technologies développées par PowerShare, destinées à améliorer la gestion des véhicules électriques. Pour mémoire, au début de l’année, la startup avait accueilli deux fonds dans son capital : le fonds corporate BP Ventures et Detong Capital Partners. Toutefois aucun détail financier n’a été connu. Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac Casil Europe
Le consortium chinois Casil Europe a mandaté Lazard pour vendre sa participation de 49,99 % dans l'aéroport toulousain, acquise en décembre 2014 (l ire l’article CFNEWS : Toulouse-Blagnac sous l’aile de deux chinois ). Six candidats sont en lice et la concurrence risque de doper les prix. Vinci Airports s’est allié à la Caisse des dépôts Infratructure et à Predica (Groupe Crédit Agricole). Le deuxième groupement réunit Ardian, la Banque Populaire Occitane, la Caisse d'Epargne Midi-Pyrénées et les fonds Mirova (Natixis). L’acteur du BTP et des concessions Eiffage se présente seul. Selon La Dépêche, trois autres nouveaux prétendants sont le gestionnaire de l'aéroport Toulouse-Francazal Edeis, le fonds corporate EDF Invest, et un consortium chinois « aux contours énigmatiques ». Chacun devra déposer une offre engageante pour le 15 mars. Les investisseurs chinois, Shandong Hi-Speed Group, lead, et Friedmann Pacific Asset Management regroupés au sein de Casil Europe, avaient déboursé 308 M€ pour 49,99 %. Casil Europe demanderait 500 M€ pour la vente de ses parts, soit une plus-value de 192 M€, justifiée par la croissance du trafic de l'aéroport toulousain. En 2018, l'aéroport toulousain a enregistré 9,63 millions de passagers, en hausse de 3,9 % par rapport à l'année précédente, et contre 7,6 millions en 2015. Pour la première fois, le trafic international (4,8 millions de passagers), en hausse de 7,1 %, est passé devant le trafic national (4,73 millions), quasi stable à + 0,7 %. Le fabricant-développeur solaire chinois ReneSola, coté au NYSE, va obtenir une obligation de 13,4 M€ auprès de Eiffel Energy Transition. Ce véhicule, géré par Eiffel Investment Group et dédié au financement des acteurs de la transition énergétique, avait finalisé son closing final en novembre dernier et avait récolté au total 350 M€ soit largement plus que son objectif 200 M€ ( lire aussi l’article sur CFNEWS IMMO & INFRA : Eiffel Energy Transition se clôture finalement à 350 M€ ). Le financement permettra de construire des projets d’une capacité de 41,3 MW situés en Hongrie et de projets de 55 MW en Pologne. Le chinois Zhejiang Hailiang Co, coté à Shenzhen, acquerra des activités barres de laiton en Allemagne et en Italie et des activités tubes de laiton en Allemagne et en Espagne auprès de KME AG, une filiale à 100 % de l’italien Intek Group, pour s’implanter en Europe. Il a également fait une offre ferme portant sur l'acquisition de 100 % des actions de la filiale française KME Brass France et a accordé à KME une option de vente (put option) à cet égard. KME entamera la procédure d'information et de consultation des instances représentatives du personnel compétentes en France immédiatement après réception de cette offre. Le périmètre de l’opération dans sa globalité concerne environ 1 100 salariés pour un chiffre d’affaires d’environ 540 M€ en 2017. Le montant accordé entre les parties concernées s’élèverait à 119 M€. Pour cette opération, Jeantet , agissant aux côtés du cabinet chinois Haiwen & Partners, a conseillé le groupe chinois Zhejiang Hailiang Co. Quant à KME, il était conseillé par Linklaters . Détenant le français SMCP, le suisse Bailly, le britannique Aquascutum, le japonais Renown Incorporated, le hongkongais Trinity Group dans son portefeuille, il vient de finaliser pour 2 Md$ la reprise des activités textiles pour la mode du groupe américain Invista . Figurent notamment la marque très populaire de matériel élastique Lycra, avec Coolmax fibers et Thermolite insulation, leurs sites de production, le centre de R&D, ou encore les antennes commerciales, avec un effectif de 3 000 personnes à travers le monde. Here Technologies (ex-filiale de Nokia), éditeur de la cartographie numérique, a révélé les détails de son plan du marché chinois en marge du Mobile World Congress de Barcelone. Il s’alliera à son homologue chinois NavInfo pour créer une coentreprise locale. Grâce à cette JV, les clients de Here vont ainsi pouvoir bénéficier de services cartographiques à jour ainsi que de fonctionnalités clés de localisation pour la Chine : dans le détail, l’affichage cartographique, le calcul d’itinéraires, la navigation en mode hybride et off-line, la cartographie des transports publics, l'information trafic, le géocodage et la localisation de points d’intérêts. Pour mémoire, Here, anciennement implanté aux Pays-Bas et aujourd’hui aux États-Unis, est détenu par des principaux constructeurs automobiles allemands : Mercedes-Benz (groupe Daimler), Audi (groupe Volkswagen) et BMW. Le géant chinois d'e-commerce Alibaba a finalisé l'acquisition d'environ 203 millions d'actions de China International Capital Corporation (CICC), coté à Hong Kong, représentant 4,84 % du capital. CICC, une des principales banques d'investissements en Chine, a été fondée en 1995 par China Construction Bank, le fonds souverain de Singapour GIC et Morgan Stanley. Central Huijin, filiale entièrement détenue par le fonds souverain China Investment Corporation, est aujourd’hui son actionnaire de contrôle avec 55,68 % du capital. Tencent en détient la même part que Alibaba, à raison 4,84 %. Et aussi :
Soitec , concepteur coté grenoblois de circuits intégrés, renforce son partenariat avec le chinois Simgui, dédié aux matériaux semi-conducteurs à base de silicium. Ensemble, ils devraient doubler leur capacités de production annuelle de plaques de SOI en 200 mm sur le site industriel de Simgui à Shanghai, soit de 180 000 à 360 000 plaques par an. Par ailleurs, le groupe français rejoint le centre d’innovation 5G créé par l’opérateur local China Mobile, en participant au développement local des solutions de communication 5G. If you like the idea of owning a Pixel phone but want to save quite a bit of money, the Google Pixel 6a just might be the perfect phone for you. At $449, the Pixel 6a is one of the most affordable Android phones you can get right now, and it has specs that are powerful enough to handle streaming media, browsing the web, and using call and text functions — but it does lack wireless charging capabilities. The Pixel 6a has a Google Tensor processor identical to the one in the Pixel 6 Pro, as well as a Titan M2 security coprocessor and all the same awesome data safety features as the Pixel 7 Pro, like end-to-end security, camera and mic toggles, and protection against phishing and malware. Then, there are 128 gigabytes of UFS 3.1 storage, 6 gigabytes of RAM, a 6.1-inch FHD OLED display with a 60Hz max refresh rate, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4,410 mAh battery with a possible battery-life of up to 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver turned on. The Nord N20 5G from OnePlus  nails the basics, but priced at only $299, don't expect it to play demanding mobile games or run as smoothly as smartphones that cost triple the price. There's only one color choice with this phone: Blue Quantum. Inside, you'll find 6 gigabytes of LPDDR4X — a lower standard than the LPDDR5 RAM found in most Android phones nowadays — and 128 gigabytes of UFS 2.2 storage, though you can add up to 512 gigabytes of extra storage via a microSD card. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 processor is paired with the Adreno 619 GPU, and the OnePlus Nord N20 5G supports 5G network tech, as its name implies, as well as Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 5, and OxygenOS based on Android 11. Despite its low price tag, the Nord N20 has a beefy 4,500 mAh battery with the famous SUPERVOOC fast charging from OnePlus — the 33W power brick is sold separately, of course — and an impressive camera setup. Compared to other phones from Samsung, the battery life on this phone is poor, but that was one of the only flaws we noted in our Galaxy Z Flip 4 review . There's nothing super impressive about the Z Flip 4's camera setup, but it's passable and takes pretty decent photos. And let's be honest, if you're buying this phone, you're probably buying it for the awesome folding design and not the cameras.
