In June 2023, The PGA Tour was merged with LIV Golf Investments which is backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The partnership combines the Saudi Public Investment Fund's golf-related commercial businesses and rights (including LIV Golf) with the commercial businesses and rights of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour into a new jointly owned for-profit entity.
