HubSpot + Performable In Action: Live Demo Webinar

SEND ANOTHER EMAIL CLOSE share Have you heard about Hubspot's acquisition of Performable? Of course you have! We've all been eager to see what exactly the combination of these two great companies is capable of. Today at 1 PM, Hubspot held a webinar called "Live Demo: Hubspot + Performable" to give some background for the acquisition, tell the audience more about Performable, and then showcase the functions of the merging companies. Hubspot VP of Sales, Mark Roberge and HubSpot Director of Customer Experience, Josh Porter (formerly of Performable) conducted the webinar before answering audience questions. There was one thing that was very apparent about the merge: It brought two incredible companies together to form an even better one. What was interesting about the webinar was that Hubspot could promise great things for the future, but with the merge only eight days behind them, couldn't tell us exactly what those things would be. However, the webinar audience had a chance to look into the workings of both companies, and tweeted several insightful thoughts with the hashtag #hubdemo. Segments of the webinar included: 1. Why Hubspot Bought Performable? 2. Performable Feature Demo 3. Using Hubspot/Performable Together To begin, Hubspot bought Performable because it helps Hubspot to grow with customers, allows them to work with bigger companies, and adds talent to an incredible product team. The Performable Feature Demo came next, and folks in the Twitter audience seemed especially interested in this segment. We learned about how Performable's 360 View allows the company to get a comprehensive view of each customer. Since each part of a company generally knows a different part of a customer, it is difficult to maintain communication in order to be effective. However, Performable's 360 View allows different departments to view the customer as a whole. By observing the customer from different standpoints by working with Shopify and Zendesk, and taking into consideration the page from which the customer is arriving at the company's landing page, Performable can compile valuable information for you. Another cool function of Performable is its Marketing Automation system. By identifying when a lead mentions one of your company's competitors on Twitter, Performable will contact your sales rep in order to give them a chance to take action. "It's a really powerful, multi-channel approach to marketing innovation," Hubspot VP of Sales, Mark Roberge said. To follow up the focus on Performable, the webinar shifted to the functions of Hubspot. One of the cool things Roberge spoke about was Hubspot's Integrated Flow, which makes blogging simple for customers. By combining technology from both of the merged companies, the system will allow users to generate keywords, view analytics, morph the article into one that is optimized for search engines, add CTA, create landing page tests, and nurture leads. Basically, if you are using Hubspot's blogging guide, it's impossible to fail! We're excited to see what the new combination of Hubspot and Performable is capable of, and this demo was a great chance to see some of the technology in action.
