Thompson Street Capital Partners Announces the Sale of Palisade ST. LOUIS (October 11, 2022) Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today it has completed the sale of Palisade, a leading provider of risk modeling and decision analysis software, to Lumivero ( www.lumivero.com ), a comprehensive data insights software platform. TSCP will retain a minority equity ownership interest in the combined company, which is backed by TA Associates, a global private equity firm. Lincoln International served as the exclusive financial advisor to Palisade. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 1984, Palisade serves more than 150,000 decision makers in more than ninety countries and more than 90% of the Fortune 500 companies. The Company’s flagship software solutions, @RISK and the DecisionTools Suite, enable Microsoft Excel and other technology platforms to perform powerful risk modeling and decision analysis. By harnessing the power of Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees, optimization, and other techniques, Palisade’s solutions enable users to fully understand risks and make better decisions. During its ownership of Palisade, TSCP accelerated the Company’s growth by expanding the executive team, transitioning to a subscription revenue model, optimizing sales efficiency, enhancing product performance, and improving customer and revenue retention.
