Paktor Hosts Offline Dating Event in Taipei 18th April 2023 Dating app Paktor is partnering with the Economic Development Department of the New Taipei City Government to host an offline dating event. The city is organising IRL dating events in an effort to reduce the number of singles. While Valentine’s Day always takes place in February, Taipei is hosting a follow-up event to help bring singles together called ‘Black Valentine’s Day’, the department shared. As part of this special day, Paktor’s professional love consultant team will be arranging ice-breaking activities to help singles connect. In addition to these ice-breakers, live music will be played at the event and pop-up stores will be come to the meeting place to provide shopping opportunities. Alex Tam, Group CEO of Paktor shared on LinkedIn : “We are having our first dating event partnership with the Economic Development Department with New Taipei City Government since Covid today. Our Paktor Premium offline team will be hosting this fully sold out event for Black Valentine’s Day!” As well as running a successful online dating platform, Paktor also operates GaiGai, an offline dating agency. In partnership with different venues, GaiGai events are designed for singles to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere.
