Andrew Braccia joined Accel in 2007 and focuses on consumer-oriented mobile and web services companies. He was an early investor and on the boards of Slack, lynda.com (acquired by LinkedIn), Squarespace, Vox Media, Cornershop, MyFitnessPal (acquired by Under Armour), Hotel Tonight, Cloudera (public), Anchor.fm, Gametime, and UserTesting. He also works closely with the teams at Braintree (acquired by PayPal), Etsy (public), Xero (public), and PagerDuty.
Prior to joining Accel, Andrew spent close to a decade in a variety of executive positions at Yahoo!.
Andrew is from Santa Rosa, California and graduated from the University of Arizona.
Bernard joined Index in 1997 and currently oversees the firm's operations. Historically, he led many of the firm's software investments and his current board roles include Mimecast and Base CRM. Prior to Index, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey and held roles in IT and finance with Procter & Gamble.
Prior to joining DAG Ventures in 2007, Nick was Vice President of Corporate Development at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for acquisitions, commercial transactions and venture investments. Previously he was CFO for Ensemble Communications where he oversaw corporate development, and CEO of iAsiaWorks, a NASDAQ listed datacenter and managed services company. He also worked with Enterprise Partners Venture Capital on a variety of development and investment assignments and with Morgan Stanley International. Nick received a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Nino Marakovic serves as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Sapphire Ventures. He serves as the Board Observer at Auth0 and Reltio. He also serves as a board member at OpenX Software. He is responsible for the worldwide investment strategy and performance of Sapphire Ventures. He holds various investing and operating capacities, Nino has been involved with investments in more than 60 private companies and has held numerous board seats. Prior to joining Sapphire, Mr. Marakovic was a Partner with meVC Draper Fisher Jurvetson and IVF Ventures in Palo Alto. Prior to his venture capital investing career, Mr. Marakovic worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Robertson Stephen in London, New York, and San Francisco. He has lived in Croatia, Austria, Italy, Germany and the United States, and holds a BA from Williams College and an MBA from the Stanford Business School.
