‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Chapter 160 Release Date: Hammer Of Rage [Spoilers]

Sep 20, 2021

The digital version of the chapter will be out on Viz and Manga Plus "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 160 is releasing on Sept. 26 Hiromi Higuruma is sick and tired of the system that works tirelessly to prove the defendant guilty. After his last client gets lifetime imprisonment despite getting a clean chit in the first trial, Higuruma loses his mind as smashes the mallet on the desk. Higuruma’s backstory is intense and "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 160 is likely to introduce his cursed spirit. Twitter user Ducky has shared a small preview of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 160. “The hammer of rage starts a cursed court! !” read the preview. In the previous chapter , creator Gege Akutami delved deeper into Higuruma’s life as a lawyer. The chapter opened with Higuruma meeting his client in what appears to be the meeting room of a prison. Higuruma was representing a man named Keita Oe, who was charged with the gruesome murder of a mother and her young daughter. The mother-daughter duo was brutally stabbed to death in their home in the Morioka City of the Iwate Prefecture. The prosecutor suspected Oe committed the murders. He was charged on suspicion of robbery and murder. Things got worse when Oe fled during questioning by police officers. When the officers followed Oe to his home, they found the murder weapon. Upon further investigation, the blood’s DNA on the knife matched that of the victim. However, Oe maintained that he was innocent. The next panel showed Oe telling Higuruma that he picked the knife but it wasn’t his. Higurama carefully studied Oe’s case and believed he was innocent. The real challenge was to prove that in court. The chapter also threw light on how the public defenders were always overworked and paid less than other lawyers. However, Higuruma believed easy cases dull a lawyer’s skills. Later in the chapter, the court found Oe innocent, but Higuruma knew the other party will appeal immediately. The case went to the second trial and the judge found Oe guilty of murdering the mother and her daughter. The judge told Oe and Higuruma if they had any objections, they could file a petition for a final appeal. Suddenly, Higuruma smashed a mallet on the desk and asked everyone to return because they were getting ready for a retrial. A mysterious figure appeared behind Higuruma as he prepared to bang the mallet again. "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 160 is scheduled for release on Sept. 26.
