August 10, 2020 15.23 Europe/London Austrian IPTV service provider Ocilion has gained 10 new customers for its IPTV end-to-end system. In Germany, Stadtwerke Bad Nauheim, Stadtwerke Hammelburg, Speedloc (Görlitz), Datel (Dessau) and Stadtwerke Merseburg are in the process of implementing the IPTV service. In Austria, Energie Steiermark, Feistritzwerke, Xinon (Studenzen), tirolnet and Stadtwerke Imst have chosen Ocilion. The network operators can now offer their customers an IPTV product under their own brand including TV packages, interactive functions, a video-on-demand service, 4K set-top boxes and apps for TV sets, smartphones and tablets. “More and more network operators are opting for their own IPTV service. The Ocilion IPTV solution offers large and small operators alike the possibility to quickly roll out a future-proof TV service under their name. For all providers, who are currently expanding their fibre-optic network, this is the engine to get even more end customers to sign up,” said Hans Kühberger, managing director of Ocilion IPTV Technologies. With the new customers, more than 60 network operators and public utility companies have decided to use the Ocilion IPTV solution.
