OceanSaver EcoDrops, with eco-friendly pack, gets Sainsbury’s listing

Apr 16, 2020

Newly launched OceanSaver EcoDrops have hit the ground running, supplying consumers with “eco & purse-friendly” cleaning products for the home. OceanSaver has developed eight innovative concentrated power-cleaning Ecodrops for cleaning tasks all around the house and all with no single-use plastic. Sales of the whole range have seen a sharp upturn, including Anti Bac where sales are up over nearly 2000% and March sales were up nearly 750% compared to February 2020 (mom) via the brand’s own website. This week sees the first delivery to 616 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK. The team at OceanSaver are working hard to support Sainsbury’s to keep their shelves stocked during the Coronavirus outbreak. The new range from OceanSaver is totally biodegradable, plant based, vegan, lab tested against leading brands and efficacy proven. OceanSaver was born from a deep love for the sea and these revolutionary new EcoDrops were developed to fight the use of single-use plastic and in turn help preserve the oceans and sea life. OceanSaver power-cleaning EcoDrops come in a small cardboard box, consumers can either re-use a 750 ml trigger spray bottle at home, purchase a glass or metal one or buy an OceanSaver bottle for life. The box contains instructions and labels, you simply drop the pod into a clean empty bottle, fill with warm water, shake and clean spotlessly. Dee Bulsara, head of Marketing, said: “OceanSaver is the cleaning range with a clean conscience. As we all try and keep our homes clean at the current time it is heartening to know that consumers are also considering the impact we all have on the environment.” A Starter Kit retails at £2.50 and comes with a bottle for life which OceanSaver will replace if damaged or it wears out. And the great news is this is made from recyclable plastic too. Single EcoDrops have an RRP £1.50 for a single EcoDrop. The company said OceanSaver’s EcoDrop has the potential to save tens of thousands of single-use plastic bottles from ending up in landfill whilst also eliminating chemicals and microplastics from our waterways and oceans. With products to clean wooden floors, bathroom, kitchen and a multi-purpose as well as the popular Anti-Bac, the range is comprehensive, with exciting developments in the pipeline. As well as Sainsbury’s you can find the OceanSaver range in selected Marks & Spencer, independent retailers and the range is also available online via Ocado, Amazon and directly from OceanSaver.com .
