Funds flow onto Nucleus’s platform as new services get thumbs up Assets under management at Edinburgh wrap increase 16.3% to top £16 billion Share Subscribe We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights Thank you for subscribingSee our privacy notice Invalid Email The flow of investment funds being managed using Nucleus’s software accelerated during the final months of last year as the company continued to add functions to its “wrap” platform”. The Edinburgh-based tech firm reported net inflows jumped by 37.8% quarter-on-quarter during the three months to 31 December to £153 million. The rise took net inflows for the year to £509 million, trailing 2018’s £1.2 billion. Assets under administration (AUA) edged 2.8% higher quarter-on-quarter to £16.1 billion, cementing a 16.3% year-on-year rise. Gross inflows rose for the fourth consecutive quarter, up 7.6% year-on-year to £497 million. Read More David Ferguson, Nucleus’s founder and chief executive, said: “We’re really pleased with the 16.3% increase in AUA over the past 12 months and, in particular, to post a fourth successive quarter of gross inflow growth, especially against the backdrop of investor uncertainty during most of 2019. It was especially pleasing to see net inflows improve in the last quarter – these had held steady across Q2 and Q3 but increased by 37.8% in Q4. “While still early days, this positive momentum has continued into the new year and we feel well-positioned to build on this. Q4 saw further significant investment in the business with new functionality that allows the placing of multiple trade instructions at the same time, a process our users tell us will save considerable processing time.” Like us on Facebook Most Recent Most Recent
