Venture Capital | 4 August 2015 Chinese Food Delivery Startup Noodle Play Plans To Raise R15 Cr In Fresh Round by Ahemad Shaikh @ahemad Mumbai based, Chinese food delivery startup Noodle Play, is planning to raise R15 Cr in next six months. With the funds, the company plans to strengthen its technological offerings apart from expanding to other metro and tier-1 cities. Recently, it had raised R1 Cr from its own delivery led customers which includes Elliot Stechman (MD, EK Wireless), Gautam Sinha (Co-founder, myfirstcheque) and Ambarish Ray (Director, Metal Communication). Founded by Hitesh Bhatia, Noodle Play (operated by Lollypop Foods Private Limited) provides online ordering and delivery of Chinese food across Mumbai. Currently it delivers to over 5 locations in Mumbai and is planning to to open 100 delivery outposts by 2016, with at least 50 of them in Mumbai. The company ties up with local caterers and pays commission on each order and delivers fresh food in that location. Bharti Airtel Acquires Financial Solutions Firm YTS Solutions Telecom major Bharti Airtel has acquired payments solutions company YTS Solutions Private Limited. The financial details of the deal remained undisclosed. YTS Solutions will be integrated with the operations of Airtel M Commerce Services Limited (AMSL), a 100% subsidiary of Airtel.
