Rhiannon Nightingale joined RGCF as corporate finance senior manager in April 2020 to support the growing demand for its specialist CF services. Prior to joining RGCF, she worked at Newcastle-based Mayborn Group, a global branded baby and toddler product company, where she was strategic partnerships and acquisitions lead. Since her move to RGCF, Ms Nightingale’s transaction highlights include advising on the management buy-out of education technology specialist eQuality Solutions Group; the management buy-in of market-leading port handling and logistics company JST Services (Scotland) Ltd; and the sale of telecommunications specialist Nice Network Ltd to LDC-backed, Onecom. She said: “I’m hugely excited to be taking the next step in my career with RGCF. The strength of the CF team was a major draw when I joined the practice, which is evident in the quality and scope of the transactions we have delivered.” Carl Swansbury, partner and head of corporate finance at RGCF, said: “Rhiannon’s promotion to Director is deserved recognition for her hard work and commitment to helping our clients to deliver their growth strategies even during this unique and challenging period. “It’s particularly pleasing that Rhiannon has been promoted after only being with RGCF for a year. She’s been a great addition to the team and reflects the strategy across RG to attract and develop the best talent and expertise.” Paul Orr joins Reproflex3 Ltd as brand services business development manager. (Image: Reproflex3 Ltd) Pre-press company Reproflex3 Ltd has appointed Paul Orr as brand services business development manager. The Cramlington company works with clients throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and Mr Orr will manage commercial activities, with a focus on building new strategic partnerships and supporting growth across key areas of the business. He joins Reproflex3 with more than 28 years of experience in the flexible food packaging pre-press industry. He said: “I’m really pleased to join the Reproflex3 family. It’s a fantastic company with an excellent reputation in the pre-press industry. They’re entirely dedicated to sharing the benefits and capabilities of flexo by providing unique end-to-end packaging solutions. “It was an easy decision to come on board and I’m looking forward to working closely with the team, our customers and business partners, to drive growth through successful partnerships and exceeding customer expectations.” Sarah Lenegan, new legal counsel with Able UK (Image: Able UK) Sarah Lenegan has joined Teesside-based Able UK in the new post of in-house legal counsel, bringing over 20 years’ experience in senior roles in ports and logistics, manufacturing and construction as well as local government and private practice. Her previous roles include legal counsel with the AIM Listed Tekmar Group plc and 12 years with PD Ports. Able UK Executive Chairman Peter Stephenson said developing in-house legal expertise was crucial as the company expanded its activities in the renewable energy and marine decommissioning sectors. He said: “This an exciting and at the same time challenging period for our business. We have evolved from being a leading and innovative specialist in complex demolition processes into a multi-functional business, with major operations on the Tees and the Humber, providing ports and logistics services for a wide range of international clients. “We are delighted that Sarah will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our team.” Ms Lenegan said: “Able UK is one of the region’s major home-grown business success stories and I am looking forward to playing a part in its continuing development. It is clearly already a vital player in providing services and facilities to both the offshore wind sector, which is set to expand rapidly as the revolution in renewable energy continues, and to the ongoing opportunities in marine decommissioning.” Read More M Wasley Chapman & Co has appointed Ross Meadows as partner (Image: M Wasley Chapman & Co) North East and Yorkshire accountancy firm M Wasley Chapman & Co has appointed one of the youngest partners in the firm’s 102-year history. He said: “I am excited for the future and grateful for the opportunity to become a partner. I look forward to progressing at Wasley Chapman, seeing clients through this tricky period and helping them to grow in better times ahead.” Fellow Wasley Chapman partner Mark Porritt added: “It is with great pride and tremendous gratitude for his years of loyalty and hard work for the firm that we announce Ross’s promotion to partner. The relationships he develops with his colleagues and the firm’s clients are deep and meaningful relationships for life. Mr Raiye has considerable experience in the low carbon energy sector following three years with KPMG’s national energy lead advisory practice. He said: “The North East is at the forefront of the move towards low carbon economic growth, and there’ll be a significant and positive knock-on effect for businesses in the area as the Government drives forward its commitment to net zero.
